WHAT TO EXPECT
Family Therapy involves one or more members of a nuclear or extended family. The focus of therapy is to improve interrelationships and promote psychological/behavioral change within the family system.
SERVICES
- Individual Therapy
A joint process through which individuals work one-on-one with a counselor in a safe, confidential and caring environment. Individual therapy allows individuals to explore their feelings, beliefs, and behaviors, work through challenges, set personal goals and work towards desired psychological and behavior change.
- Family Therapy
Involves one or more members of a nuclear or extended family. The focus of therapy is to improve interrelationships and promote psychological/behavioral change within the family system.
- Group Therapy
Group therapy attempts to give individuals a safe and comfortable place where they can work through life's stressors. Individual group members gain insight into their own thoughts and behaviors and offer suggestions and support to others. In addition, members who have difficulty with interpersonal relationships can benefit from the social interactions that are an essential part of the group therapy experience.
- Clinical Supervision
A formal working alliance between a licensed supervisor and supervisee in which the supervisor monitors the performance of the supervisee. The supervisor offers guidance and support to the supervisee with aims of improving supervisee's clinical skills and ensuring client welfare.
